GLIDE CANADA
Trilobal Polyester / Plied / Soft
Why is Glide in such demand with Sewers and Quilters?
Glide Handles well in all Machines. We at Stitch in the Ditch want to offer our customers the most popular quilting threads on the market, which is why we have Glide, a trilobal polyester thread produced from high-tenacity filament yarn. produced from high-tenacity filament yarn.
What does this mean? Trilobal polyester is a gorgeous and shiny thread that loves to show off. The word “tri” in trilobal refers to the shape of the thread which is actually triangular in shape. The flat sides of the thread reflect light much better than a round thread does, making it a shinier thread that is meant to stand out.

If you have a choice of two different threads which are very close to the fabric color, always go for the darker thread.
A lighter thread will be more visible whereas darker threads will tend to blend in to the seam.
With patterned materials the best advice is to go with the background color
