The Grid Glider from Sew Steady creates a slick sewing surface that is ideal for both piecing and free motion quilting, and its handy measurement marks offer an easy way to align your fabric pieces for a quarter-inch seam.
The Grid Glider is easy to apply
just peel off the backing and place the glider on your sewing machine table.
When you are done with your quilting, just remove it, stick the backing back on, and place it back in its convenient storage tube.

Clean with warm water and air dry to revive

Nulagh is a wonderful shop owner. She’s friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable and readily available for any assistance that's needed. She provides a level of service with her on-line only shop that surpasses most brick and mortar ones.
Pricing of goods and delivery rival most other suppliers so even though I am in Nova Scotia and Stitch in the Ditch is clear across the country in BC, she’s my first choice when I am shopping!

After a 40 year hiatus from sewing I began a journey of learning how to quilt. Frustrated seeing all the amazing tools for quilting in the US . Ordering from Amazon is no guarantee you get you original manufacturer equipment often they are knock offs. To purchase through a US site you end up dealing with exchange rates and duty $$$$. I was on the hunt for a Canadian company to purchase the tools. Local quilt shops do not always have the tools you are looking for.   I found Stitch in the Ditch and I have been ordering ever since. The prices are in Canadian and often on sale. I have been able to find everything and more for my quilting needs. Most recently I signed up for a beginners to quilt course by Sew Steady through Stitch in the Ditch and received all the rulers and ruler foot from Stitch in the Ditch in order to do the 8 week course.  Everything  I have ordered has been shipped and received without incident. Highly recommend Stitch in the Ditch for all your sewing needs.

I recently purchased this product to replace an older  (more expensive) brand I’d purchased elsewhere . I couldn’t believe the difference. It works SO well, and the fabric slides over it very smoothly!
