Kathy Clawson, renowned for her magical touch with Spin-e-Fex templates, is set to enhance your quilting journey with new Zoom classes starting in February 2024, offering both in-house tuition and online learning flexibility. This exciting opportunity allows you to welcome an expert teacher right into your sewing room, starting with four templates in the first set of classes.
What a huge demand for Spin-e-Fex templates! At Stitch in the Ditch, we cannot keep up with orders, these templates are so versatile. We have Kathy Clawson creating magic with the templates. Her new Zoom classes start in February 2024 and offer in-house tuition! She will start with 4 templates for the first set of classes. We are certainly excited to have such a teacher live in our sewing room.
The 16 Rotations change the look of the Templates! The size of the ruler indicates the size from the top of the design to the bottom. For example, an 11.5" template would fit perfectly into a 12" block! The marked lines on the template allow you to guide your design to perfectly align with the crosshairs you’ve marked on your quilt.
Preparing Spin 2, Spin 3, Spin 10, Spin 11 Now we need to see the MAGIC!
Spin-e-Fex makes it possible to stitch around the inside of a template without the need to cut the threads, to enter or exit the template and leaves no unsightly flat line when stitching past an open gate entrance. Spin-e-Fex creates its unique shapes by stitching around the perimeter of a simple template shape, advancing the template location, and then stitching and repeating. Once all advances have been stitched, a beautifully intricate design is revealed!
