The Silicone Applique Fuse Mat is made of a silicone and glass fiber material that is heat resistant up to 500 degrees F (260 degrees C.). That means it is the perfect surface for all of your fusing, ironing, and gluing needs!

What It Is and Why We Love It:
All you do is place your applique placement guide underneath your applique pressing sheet and you are ready to go. I like to use a light box with my pressing sheet, too, so it is easier to see the placement guide.

The reason it works so well is most fusible are heat activated glues – which melt and spread just like cheese when your iron applies the heat. This usually makes a huge mess – but not anymore! The Applique Fuse Silicone See Through Mat proprietary fiberglass grid inside the mat stops any leakage.
Additionally special dimples trap all the air underneath causing the fusible to suck down onto the fabric and go nowhere else!
So, there is no need to protect your iron, mat or ironing board from annoying glue leakage.
Clean the mat with soap and water or place it in the dishwasher.
