Table has 16" ruler printed on front edge, front edge is beveled for easy fabric glide, legs are removable for easy storage and transport.
Put your sewing supplies...scissors, pattern instructions, sew ripper and the like, underneath this clear acrylic table.
They'll be easy to find when you need them!
Machine quilting, either with your walking foot or for free motion quilting, requires space for your hands.
Our tabletop sewing machines don't provide enough room on the bed of the machine to support both our hands AND the quilt sandwich.
The Sew Steady Table provides plenty for both.
The extended flatbed work area makes sewing a joy; fabric won't pull or hang off the edge of your machine, preventing stretched fabric and seams
Table is custom cut from 1/4" Plexiglas to fit your particular machine
When first putting our table on your machine, you start with the front left of the free arm. The table should be perfectly level with your free arm where your fabric is going to go from our table onto your free arm right where your needle is at. If this is not level, even a 1/16 inch off, it will not fit your machine correctly.
Secondly, your machine may not be level. If you look closely you may see the machine is higher in the back than in the front. Our table can only be level in one place, so if the machine is not level, our table will fit differently on one side than the other. Our table is designed to fit over and around your machine in the back, once adjusted level in the front.
Unfortunately, when the machine is not level, we make the design that works the best and still allow the fabric to move freely and evenly from the front to the back without sewing uphill or falling off the back and pulling on your needle.
Customers sometimes expect the acrylic table to be pliable and fit around all angles- this is not possible, Sew Steady fit the table around the free arm the most important area for sewing- if your machine has lower curves at the side the table will not be made to fit the those curves. Custom made tables are much more expensive and will be quoted on request
